1 pound ground beef
1 Italian sausage removed from casing
2 eggs beaten with a little milk (about 2 TBS)
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 c grated parmesean cheese
1 small onion diced
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
parsley, basil and oregano to taste (start with 1/2 tsp each)
Mix all ingredients and form into golfball sized meatballs and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. They wll finish cooking in the sauce.

1 large onion diced
3 – 4 cloves of garlic minced
1 small can tomato paste
1 large can San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes (squeezed and crushed)
parsley, basil, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
Brown the Italian sausage and spare ribs. Remove and then saute onion in their fat. When onion is cooked add garlic. Then add tomato paste and stir for about a minute. Add the crushed tomatoes and seasonings. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 1 – 2 hours (with lid ajar). Then add in Italian sausage, ribs and meatballs and cook for another hour.
